A Proof of Concept (PoC) is a small-scale experiment that tests whether an idea or technology can work in practice. It’s about proving feasibility, not final design. A successful PoC provides evidence that a proposed solution is technically or operationally viable, helping reduce risk and build stakeholder confidence before committing significant resources. PoCs are common in software, engineering, and innovation projects where new methods, integrations, or technologies are being trialled.
