Scrum is an empirical, incremental framework within Agile for managing complex work by breaking it into short iterations (called sprints). Teams use roles (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Developers), timeboxed events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective), and artefacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment) to deliver value iteratively. Founded on transparency, inspection, and adaptation, Scrum helps teams respond to change and continuously improve.
